Happy Monday Girls!!!! Hope you had a splendid holiday weekend!

So, did you all check out our first Izzy~N~Ivy Design over at Lola's place? Isn't it the cutest?
We are going to pattern it all the way up to a size 14!

In celebration of the fantabulousness of all us Gracie Girls (yes, you can be a Gracie Girl too), we wanna know what you like most about us and what we could do a bit better. Or maybe, you have some grand idea that you are dying to pass along?

So the question is...what are you diggin' about Gracie Lou's? What are you not so diggin' about Gracie Lou's?
Now, before you tell us there is absolutely nothing we could change, rethink...there is always something we can change. This can have anything to do with the actual store, the online store, the blog, or Izzy~N~Ivy. Please be honest, but remember to first say something nice :o) We want to make your day, so tell us how we can! Winners this week will get a fat quarter bundle of our favorite lines. I hope you are telling all your friends and fans about our giveaway, lets try to get the comments up to 60 this week!

Hugs to all , hope your week is as beautiful as you are!

Wow, how do you come up with things to improve something that is already totally amazing ?!?! I checked out the new izzy-n-ivy pattern, and it is too darling. I can't wait til I have a girl big enough to try it (try being the key word there :) )! Man, the store is the best I have ever seen, and I have been visitng others lately to see how they compare- no where near the awesomeness at Gracie Lou's!! The blog is VERY fun, and the giveaways are a very nice perk. I haven't been sewing long, so maybe I could have some spectacular suggestions/ideas if I had, but from a beginner's point of view, you guys ROCK! Seriously, that is the truth, I know you wanted ideas, but for me, you have covered the bases :) Thanks- (I just wish lived closer :) )

This is another reason to love your store! You are looking for ways to improve. I LOVE YOUR STORE! It is such a happy and comfortable place with the cookies, toys and who can resist the shop dog? I love how you have sample after sample of the most darling projects! I have to admit, I buy a lot of the things I can see made. I love your free classes and there is always plenty of frienldy help in the shop. You have modern, fun fabric and a great selection of baby/kid fabric too. I also love that there is always something on sale.....especially the $2 fabric for backs! Things to improve on? The only thing I can think of is to expand your store so there can be even more Gracie Lou's! I tell everyone I know about your store. Thanks! Happy quilting! :)

love the sales and $2 tables for great fabric that accents the new stuff! the thing I don't like is that the store is too close to my house. I always have to stop in just to see what's new and walk out with a bag of fabric and I don't even know what I will be making with it! It's just too cute!

I really can't believe that i could ever get hook on a fabric store, but i am. i love all your wonderful material, your free classes. I've got to know some of the help personally and there so much fun to be around. I love the cookies and the first Saturday of the month cinnimon rolls. But (I hate buts) I have came in at times and some of the help are not to Knowledgeable about signing up for the classes,Items that we need for the classes, what pattern is needed this can be frustrating when your time is limited. So maybe a store meeting would be good so everyone that works there is well imformed.
But whatever I love Gracie Lou's

LOVE your store. I especially like all the samples you have all over the store. I am a visual person, so I love to see the finished product before I attempt to make it. I love all the patterns you have. Now that I have a little girl, I can't stop in there too often, I have enough projects as it is but I always find more at your store!! The only thing I would improve on, is sometimes when I've went in, no one says hi and they walk right by as if I'm not even there. I worked in customer service for a long time, and even a hello and smile goes a long way! Shasta, I think you're awesome! :)

Love your store and availability of super cute fabrics, patterns, and kits. I was a little frustrated when I tried to call the store on Saturday to find out the hours but all I got was a message saying the mail box was full. I then drove down to the store only to find that it was closed for the day. A voice mail greeting with the hours and especially the exception to the normal hours would have saved me the trip. Don't worry, I'm still coming in the the store within the next couple of days. Thanks!

I LOVE the giveaways (of course) and I don't like that you are only in Utah. Apart from that it's all about the LOVE!!!!!!

Love your store. I have only been in it once, and it was very busy. I loved the atmosphere (completely missed the cookies). There is so many things to choose from. I live up in PG, so I don't make it down there that often. Hopefully we will be moving down there soon and I can shop there more often. The only complaint I had, was you guys didn't have the material I wanted (although no one seems to right now) and the girl that tried to help me, really wasn't that knowledgeable about material. It is a very nice set up, in a nice noticeable part of town. I am excited to go back again soon!

Seriously, I love the shop. It is my HAPPY place. Every time I go there, I wish I worked there and could hang out with you fun gals all the time. You have the best selection of fabric around. I would get rid of some more of that old lady stuff and bring in more fun stuff. Sorry old ladies. That is about it. Oh, I have always been very welcomed in there. Everyone has been super friendly. My sister on the other hand hasn't gotten the same response. I asked her if she was in the right place. She said she was. So there is something.

I have always been a fabric whore. Sorry about the verbage. I used to support a local store (Springville) but they don't carry alot of the new lines. I spend way too much money everytime I come in your store. But I love the punch cards !! Great money saver. I don't think I've ever gotten to the back of the store because I fall in love with all the sweet fabrics in the front. I love all the people that work there. They are always fun and helpful. Keep up the good work !!

I think it would be awesome to have photos to go along with your class schedule. I live out of town, so I would like to schedule to come to a class, but I need to see what it is. (I know what quilting 101 is by the way, I can quilt that quilt in my sleep :) )

I love Gracie Lou's, pretty fabric, a little dog and cookies-what could be better? When I click my red sparkly shoe heels together-I wish to go to Gracie Lou's! The thing I wish the most is for is 9 am open time (then I have more time to spend drooling over fabric before I pick the kids up from school at 11:30) and open later in the evening.

I love everything about Gracie Lou's - diplays, ideas, the bight cheery fabrics, assortment of patterns, punch cards, classes, helpful ladies, website, Grandma Parry and especially your talented teachers. Its hard to improve on perfection. You are a great marketer! I have been fortunate enough to take several different classes and I cannot praise your instructors enough, they are amazing!! It has taken me all week to think of something that you could improve on, here goes... I am a prepared sort of girl and the classes have been a bit disorganized due to other participants showing up at class time to choose their fabric. This has nothing to do with the teachers and they have done a great job keeping the class moving, but it is irritating that we cannot all be sewing together. I don't know how you could avoid this, other than not selling fabric after 6:30. A BIG HOORAH to the teachers!! Also more flannel. I haven't paid much attention to see if you have fabric on sale, but we all love percentages off on certain lines and certain dates. Keep up the good work, I'm so glad you came to town. I tell everyone about you, you should all feel like celebrities!

Your Store has to be my first stop, anytime I want a fabric, I will check Gracie Lou's first. The samples are amazing, Shasta and the girls are so much fun and always willing to help. If there is anything that needs to be changed.............this is a hard one, I would like to see some Candy, and Food fabrics. I love the new Japanese fabric, would like to see some of the larger forest animal and mushroom prints. Thank you for a super fun store!!!

love gracie lou hoo's! Have you thought about putting some of your shop samples up on this blog with a link to your online store where we can buy the same pattern and fabric kit that you used for the project? whenever I go in there I always wish I could do all of them, and this may be fun for your followers who do not live in the area, to get their creative juices flowing! also could you do some posts on the fun tutorials you find on other blogs? I think having a guest blogger once a week to share their sewing ideas, and the fun stuff they have found would be fun too! you guys are doing great! love the new pattern!

When you need to find that perfect fabric for a project that you can't find anywhere else, go to Gracie Lou's! I've been spreading the word to my friends. I drive all the way from Orem! My only suggestion for improvement would be to shorten the wait to get things cut. I know you are hurrying as fast as you can! I was behind two quilting ladies and waited for over half an hour. But I totally enjoyed myself browsing and found a new quilt kit! I also love all the samples you have to get creative juices flowing. Love you!
